In this series of articles, we provide a comprehensive review of the available research on the relationship between video games and the brain, with particular attention paid to the effects of video games on behaviour, cognitive function, and physical and psychological well-being. The results suggest that while some video games may have negative effects, others may have positive effects on the brain, especially in the areas of attention, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, the article discusses the potential advantages of using video games as an educational and therapeutic tool.
