HandyTab stores all your data locally on your device using Chrome's local storage. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers.

• Custom uploaded background images

3. Chrome Permissions

HandyTab requests minimal permissions to provide its functionality:

• Bookmarks: To display and organize your Chrome bookmarks
• Search: To respect your default search engine settings
• Context Menus: To add shortcuts from any webpage via right-click
• Active Tab: To enable shortcut creation from the current page

4. No Data Transmission

HandyTab operates entirely offline and does not:

• Send any data to external servers
• Track your browsing activity
• Collect analytics or usage statistics
• Share data with third parties
• Require user accounts or registration

5. Search Functionality

When you use HandyTab's search feature, your search queries are sent directly to your default search engine as configured in Chrome. HandyTab does not intercept, store, or modify your search queries.

6. Background Images

HandyTab includes curated background images that are bundled with the extension. If you upload custom background images, they are stored locally on your device and never transmitted elsewhere.

7. Data Removal

To remove all HandyTab data:

• Uninstall the extension from Chrome
• Or use Chrome's "Clear browsing data" feature and select "Cookies and other site data"

All locally stored HandyTab data will be permanently deleted.

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our extension or applicable laws. Updates will be distributed through Chrome Web Store extension updates.
